HaveItMakeIt

How it works

Start from what's already in your kitchen, not from a shopping list.

  1. Step 1

    Tick what you have

Pick the ingredients in your kitchen: eggs, an onion, that half bag of rice. Salt, pepper, oil, sugar and water are assumed, so you don't need to tick them.

  2. Step 2

    See what you can make

Recipes you have everything for show up under “Ready to make”. Ones you're only one or two ingredients away from show up under “Almost there”, with what's missing.

  3. Step 3

    Cook

Open a recipe for the ingredient list and steps. Your picks are remembered in your browser, so next time you start where you left off.

A few details

Optional ingredients never count against you. If a recipe says “parsley, for garnish”, it still shows as ready to make without it.

Names are flexible. “Scallions” and “green onions” are the same thing here, and so are “garbanzo beans” and “chickpeas”.

Old recipes, if you like. Tick “Include historic recipes” to add hundreds of recipes from a 1910 cookbook, measurements and all.

Ready when you are.
